  1. The popular meal delivery service company Home Chef is establishing a new production site in Douglasville. The 181,000-square-foot facility is expected to create 700 new jobs in the area. It is the company’s first single-tenant facility and will be equipped with state-of-the-art features such as upgraded food-safe material design, cleaning processes, and facility flow.   2. The City of Douglasville is offering a free event for individuals interested in learning about and participating in recreational activities from all over the world. Recreation Vacation will take place this tomorrow, Jul. 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hunter Park.   3. A Douglas County judge is facing 50 counts of alleged judicial misconduct after making controversial comments during a homeowners association meeting in March. At the meeting, Probate Judge Christina Peterson allegedly claimed she would drop a lawsuit against the HOA board if it held a special election to negate the results of a prior election, which Peterson says was not conducted lawfully. A date for the trial to address the claims against Peterson has not yet been set. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
